JULY 28TH - MY RE-BIRTHDAY!! -

Well after tons of phone calls, nutrition classes, food diaries,

insurance forms, weigh ins, sleep studies etc....I FINALLY GOT
MY DATE!!!

MAN, am I PUMPED!!  A little scared too, but God is in

CONTROL!!

JULY 28TH IS THE BIG DAY!!  I'm already planning a trip to

London, England with my daughters.  You see my oldest

daughter went to school there and I couldn't visit because of

my size. 

Well guess what OH family, I'm going back to age 10 (when I

originally starting gaining weight) and doing every LAST THING
I never did when I was pudgy, had 'baby fat, slightly

overweight, overweight, obese, morbidly obese....every single

thing....

WOW...after raising 2 beautiful kids, building a beautiful home,

taking care of family and being a pillar of support to

everyone...guess what - - CALL ME SELFISH...BUT AT A

NEWLY TURNED '40'...IT'S ABOUT TO BE ALL ABOUT ME'!! 

....and darn it...I like the way that SOUNDS!!!

You are not selfish.  If we had all learned how to truly take care of ourselves all along, we wouldn't be in this position.  Good luck on you journey!

I wanna go to London with you!!!  That sounds like the trip of a lifetime.  How exciting!

Wow, CONGRATS on your surgery date!! London has been a city I have always wanted to go to. You deserve to think about yourself, I know that is what I am doing!!!

i know just how you must be feeling right about now. i got my date on monday and it is one day after yours.

 i am very confused as to what i should be doing right now and for the next 7 days. i don't get to do my classes until the 8th and heaven only knows what i am suppposed to be doing until then.

I have a question for all that have had surgery already.  My home has quite a few stairs.  I have about 14 going up and 14 going down.  Not too worried about going down, but I've got to get up to get to my big ol' king sized bed!  :)   Is it possible to do stairs right away or is the pain unbearable?
